Raised in a Kentucky family that threw parties often, I knew as a young girl hospitality would be a huge part of my life. At 15 years old, my aunt filled my heart when she gave me the opportunity to plan dinner parties for my uncles International Friends. Let's just say I might have been the best bartender those guests had ever seen!
At 16, I was hired by a wedding catering company and I can still see and feel the exact moment, I knew then and there I was born to be an event planner. It wasn't the food, the location or even the people I worked with that helped make this decision, It was the sheer thought of how I would have changed certain things to really provide an experience for the couple, rather than seeing the same wedding over and over again.
I want guests to feel the passion that goes into every event. I want guests to feel that every detail was meticulously thought of. I want the guests wanting to come back for more.
I have grown up with a Southern Hospitality style that is heavily implemented into Grace and Gold Events. I lived in Southern California for 15 years where I learned the luxury of wedding planning and how the experience changes everything.. As a destination wedding planner, I combine Southern Hospitality with Luxury with a focus experience to truly empower a one of a kind event. I can't wait to create something special for you!

Sarah was on top of her game from start to finish!! We opted for her ‘month of’ service package but due to some unexpected issues with our venue she stepped up and stepped in much sooner than the month of to help us navigate the stressful situation. She was prompt in her communication and was such a pleasure to work with. I was already so impressed with Sarah leading up to the big day but was truly exceptional the day of the wedding. She took care of everything and made sure everything fell into place! Allowing me to focus on taking in the day and enjoying myself.
